Visa application Penang help please.

Featured Replies

Hello.

I am getting started on filling out a visa application form for Penang Thai Consulate. It asks for the name and address of a guarantor in Thailand which is fine. Then it asks for the name and address of a local guarantor. I don't know anyone in Penang. Dose anyone have any advice who has come across this.

I am applying for a single entry non O based on marriage.

Thanks.

The guarantor fields do not require filling in for a Non O based on marriage. The form covers all categories of visas, and provides space for information that does not apply for most applications.

Correct. The other thing worth keeping in mind when applying in Penang is that they now only accept a certain number of applications per day (from memory, I think it's 100, but don't quote me on that), so it's worthwhile getting there early and getting to the front of the line before they open at 08:30. I have seen people turned away for this reason.
