Hi,

Quick question as stated in the title.

Company(big) wants to take my passport for six days to issue work permit, is this normal procedure? What document should I use in the meantime when for example asked for the police?

 

My company took it for 4days, I took a photo of my passport pages and the phone number of my companys visa person. It's was fine and got my passport back by end of week.

    Thanks, I think they want to gather more passports from other expats and go to the ministry only once, but still I don't like doing it
