I just have a quick question, how many times can you get a non o visa based on marriage if you don't extend it for a year? Is there a limit per year?

There is no limit on the number of single entry non-o visas you can get. 

If you want more than one entry then you could get a multiple entry non-o visa at some nearby embassies and consulates.
