Hi

I'm an Iranian nationality and i needed to renew my passport which i did last week

Well if everyone knows about iran they know about how hard is doing paperwork with official offices we need a lots of documents at least till i renewed my passport last , it's like an online system we can request anything even visa which after we request we need to upload a clear picture of each documents and each time it will  saved before the next step long story short i was extremely surprised after i saw these significant improvement i use a lot of time using my phone to upload all documents but i did all at home and when i went to embassy just 5 minutes i passed my old passport and i got my new one

Ok i have this question if anyone can answer why Thailand online immigration is so old , pages look at least 10 years old , most only works only with internet explorer , even those new application are look so old , when we fail something we need to start all over , i never get any answer when i send email or online contact , how even this possible in 2020 ? How they can manage all those papers and copies? Why we need to provide same documents over and over each time?

I hope someone close to head of immigration could answer

With online system we can help the air quality , control the crowd , and saving a lot cost which foreigners can directly pay to government for improving the country like online fee or something

Even with online system they can control foreigners location which they care too much about it

I can't do the 90 days report online even with new application

I hope this coronavirus virus problem will help to push and improve their online system

Welcome to Amazing Thailand. It's not really known for IT or innovation, tech, modernization or functionality in any department, anywhere.  It's more known for lip service, pretending and BS. The things that made/make it Amazing can't be openly mentioned here. Hope this helps. Choke dee!

Dear Sir or Madame as the case may be. What you are espousing is called common sense which is sadly lacking in the Thai bureaucracy. In fact there is no equivalent in the Thai language for the concept of "common sense".

I'm sure the chief of immigration or his deputy is working up an answer right now.  Expect they will post an answer within 24 hours.

Actually online banking system is really nice and super easy to use , online shopping system is getting improve very fast also , as far as i know only immigration online system is completely useless

I don't know about online education system

You know if they really want to fight against criminal or illegal foreigners a nice online system do much better than a TM30 report , they can have a nice and clear map of who lives where and if they see any suspicious face by traffic cameras or something super easy and searchable in that map they will not waste time and they can find them much much easier
