Getting married as a digital nomad

The Amphur apparently requires the foreign person to state a profession when getting married in Thailand. Let's say the person satisfies the 400k in the bank requirement but works online and doesn't have a Thai work permit. Can such a person state the truth in their application without fear of rejection, or worse? Are there any options for such a person? Or should they simply give up hopes of living in Thailand with their spouse?

Nomad & Marriage - total oxymoron.

They do not care what you list, and will never check.

You need to make up a reasonable profession, such as "Industry Consultant".
