NON IMM O

Featured Replies

Anyone have ideas about o visa in Phnom Penh.

Required documents seem less arduous than other places.

Thanks

What would be the basis for applying the non-o visa?

Do you want a single or multiple entry non-o visa?

To replace current OA.

Single or multiple no problem.

200,000 bht obviously incorrect.

Based on Retirement?

Retirement yes.

You will certainly need to show 800k baht in the bank or proof of 65k baht income.

Others have gotten them there but had to wait after submitting the application to get approval from the head of the consular section before it was accepted

You can only get a single entry non-o..

Is Hanoi doing Non-O visa based on retirement ?

Where would Dr. Jack suggest as better options.

Also Savannakhet required documents #5 :

Official letter from the concerned Embassy/

consulate of applicant's nationality.

Necessary? If so what is it to state?

For Non Imm O retirement.

                       Thanks

Micky, depends where your located. If bkk, personally I would take cheap return flight to HCMC. Great city for a break and good consulate. Or just do a border run enter visa exempt and do conversion to non o (retirement) at immigration.

Unless his passport is from one of the countries now excluded from a 15 day Visa.

True. However he could obtain "invitation letter online" and then visa on arrival.

Folk note what jacko has just pointed out.

The countries in Europe and UK that previously had VE now require a visa for Vietnam. The 15 day VE is for time being not available.

Also OZ is about to close flights from Italy. Things changing daily.

Not there or at Ho Chi Minh City. They only do OA visas for Vietnamese and legal residents.

Or a e-visa that costs $25 if they have been staying here and have not been to one the restricted countries recently.
