Photograph: Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images for Coachella Coachella, the most celebrated music festival in the US, is reportedly planning to move from April to October over coronavirus concerns. It is the latest in a number of cancelled and postponed tours, with Madonna, Pearl Jam and Neil Young also changing tour plans. Sources have told industry publications Variety and Billboard that agents are looking to re-book artists for Coachella, held in Indio, south-east California, to begin on 9 October. The festival, which hosts 250,000 people across two weekends and is due to begin 10 April, has not yet announced any changes to dates or lineup.
