webfact
Restaurant in mall clarifies on rumours of being visited by Covid-19 patients By THE NATION Chongjaroen, a restaurant in CentralWorld department store in Bangkok, said on Facebook on Wednesday (March 11) that it was looking into rumours the restaurant had been visited by Covid-19 patients. Chongjaroen said the restaurant has run prevention measures for a period, including checking the temperature of both staff and customers, and sanitising with alcohol. “Presently, over 50 per cent of customers are those who book their tables, whose contact details we know,” Chongjaroen said. “We now aim to record 100 per cent of customers’ information as a way to deal with rumours”. Meanwhile, Central Pattana, the operator of CentralWorld, said on Wednesday that it would investigate the rumour. The operator closed the zone where the restaurant is located and added that it had ordered staff to clean several zones of the department store, including an office building and parking lot. We urge you to get yourself checked, so as to be on a safe side, and remain our loyal customer for many years"... Or something like that... Stargeezr
It would seem that some people on the forum will only get the point, if it was on the end of a stick. So thank you hobobo for your help. There are still some who are comparing this virus to the common flu, but maybe their world is flat. I am happy to see more strict checks at the airport, even if it means more time spent processing. JimLuce
I’m sure there’s been plenty of infected patients in lots of public places we’re unaware of right now.
