DOWN LOAD APP CORONA VIRUS

Hi, Last night I flew home, hit the immigration queue, and was shocked to see nobody at the service booths getting allowed in,

The Immigration, now require an additional Corona virus form filled in to be submitted with your passport and your paper form,

so if you know of people coming in give them the heads up,  down load the air ports of Thailand App scroll down to where you see corona -19 tap on that fill it in , seat number flight name etc, take a photo of your passport information page and up load that,  then confirm and upload, then go and get your immigration form stamped , by an official at the head of the queue prior to getting to a booth,  and then go and submit your entry to the booth immigration, if you do to do this they will not let you IN,

very nice to see both entry points full of confused and exasperated people after their flights,  two ladies trying to get that information to all was a joke,

Very simple to put it out to airlines prior to arrival so the dam bottle neck is not stagnant from moving,

I understand Immigration at the Bangkok airports has been unusually painless the last few weeks, with the number of arrivals drastically reduced. The authorities had to figure out some way of fixing that.

What could be more simple?

Can you download the app and download / print the form before departing for Thailand?

Any delay in a crowded area is not a good, or a sensible thing to happen!

Better yet, stop flying.  Stay where you are.

Best to download t8 form.

I installed AOT app but when you open it the phone just gives message "app keeps closing"

Currently in Saigon which doesn't have internet cafes everywhere same as bkk. I suggest anyone traveling to download your t8 form prior to leaving Thailand.

Would be nice to know if the airlines are handing the forms on plane.

On flight DMK to Saigon on Friday AirAsia handed out very similar for that is required for arrival Vietnam.

FAKE NEWS

There is no app named Corona Virus that needs to be downloaded and installed by passengers arriving in Thailand.

WARNING

If ever you see an app called Corona Virus not published by the WHO or another trusted health organisation, be extremely wary because it will likely install malware or give misinformation.

OP was obviously talking about the app "required" i.e. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AOT&hl or https://apps.apple.com/au/app/aot-airports/id792579639.

That said, guess warning some people doesn't hurt.
