Non O multiple entry based on Marriage.

Featured Replies

Morning all,

I have a non O multiple entry Visa based on marriage.

We normally travel overseas for work / holiday every 90 days or failing that do a ‘border bounce’.

We normally live in chiang mai but left due to the smog and are currently in Phuket.

I need to leave on the 15th of April (for obvious reasons we’re not looking to go overseas) in the past have gone to the Casino in Burma to get a stamp, my question are: am I able to get a 60 day extension here in phuket without leaving, or if I do a ‘border bounce’ are there any reported problems with coming back from Burma?

TIA

You could apply for the 60 day extension to visit your wife in Phuket if you have proof of residence for there and have done a TM30 report there.

At this time there would be no problem entering from Myanmar.

You can get the 60-day extension. Your wife must go with you to Immigration.

You do not mention your nationality. In principle, the in/out at Ranong should be possible, but trying to predict the situation a month from now is difficult.

Many thanks,

I’m British wife if Thai and we have two kids.

We booked via Air BnB so doubt they have done a TM30 we’re due to move to a new villa on Saturday so will ask the new owners to do the TM30 then.

Cheers again

Doing a border run(bounce) NOW would buy you 90 days.

And as other wrote it currently seems to work fine.
