NickLDN
I’ve currently got a settlement visa undergoing application. it was submitted on 17 February, and I will be hoping for a decision within the next eight weeks. This is a UK settlement visa Application for my fiancé, Due to the current Situation with the coronavirus I was wondering if there is a time limit as to when the visa can be used. We stated her travel date is 17 May 2020, if we wanted to push that back a month or two to see how this thing develops, would that be possible, or do you have to leave on the date you stated on your application? thanks
FracturedRabbit
My experience was that the vignette in the passport (which is valid for 30 days) was valid from a date 7 days before our stated travelling date. The residence permit was available to collect from the local post office as from our stated travel date. it is possible to change the date on the vignette but of course there is a charge for that!
