Changing dates for a tourist visa

Featured Replies

I applied for a 2 month tourist visa from London and it’s valid from April 10th.

if I change my flight outbound from the 10th to a sooner date (because of this stupid virus thing) can I change the dates of my visa?

i have to have a tourist visa to land in Thailand even though I’m British (long story I have a stamp saying I have to have one in my passport, it’s been approved)

second question is what’s going on with regards to the coronavirus at Bangkok airport?

cheers

You can't change the visa date but you could ask the embassy.

Think the embassy is closed in London grr

The only important date on your visa is the valid until date that is 3 months from the day it was issued. That is the last day you can use the visa for entry.

The date you planned on entering when you applied for it means nothing after the visa is issued.

You can use your visa for entry whenever you want to up to June 9th.
