Your right just had email from my insurers that any travel booked on or after 18 March will not cover Coronavirus

The airlines are not asking for insurance coverage for coronavirus.

Thai Airways site says the following.

Medical certificate issued less than 72 hours before.

Coronavirus test results to be shown on the medical certificate.

Completed not more than 72 hours before.

Insurance coverage to $100,000 .

NO mention of the coronavirus insurance.

Also a T8 form.

I was told that the airline check the documents and allow boarding.

I am hopeful of leaving Australia Friday afternoon to get back to Thailand and my partner and her family, whose mother died a few days ago.

I put this in a previous post.

With the new requirements for a covid-19 free certificate, they have banned tourists already. Back here, there is NO way any doctor is even considering testing me for covid-19, as it is deemed not essential. I assume, such test aren't administered elsewhere either for the purpose of tourism.
