Extension (medical) about to expire, Ban puggard tomorrow an option?

Featured Replies

Hi

Tourist exempt entry from about a year ago + 1 years of extensions due to medical reasons.

Current extension expire april 10. properly wont be able to get any more extensions due to health reasons - which is a good thing ????

Im in pattaya, should i drive to Ban Puggard/pakard tomorrow and hope i can do a in/out, is that even possible without a visa now?

Also, i didn't do 90d reporting, would that give me even more issues if trying to do an in/out?

Or should i just wait a couple of weeks and hope situation changes or in worst case, see if i can find a flight home to my country (which i haven't been in since last 6 years and have nothing there)

My medical situation does not allow me to gamble with overstay and staying in detention for even a day. so thats not an option.

p.s. im not from one of the countries listed on that letter that has been posted multiple places, close but no cigar

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

As of today I am not even sure that crossing is open. They have closed a few crossings when there was more than one in a province.

No even sure what will be needed to enter the country at a land border crossing after midnight today.

Best to wait a bit and see what happens or try to get another extension. Immigration might be more flexible about doing a 30 day extension for medical treatment.
