Popular Post elviajero
Permanently yes because it’s a pointless archaic report. I can’t see them cancelling it because of the pandemic. If anything they will be more interested to know the whereabouts and movements of foreigners than ever. 7
jesimps
Yes. The reason is obvious so I won't expand. Did mine by post today, 14 days before the due date. About three people in the post office as opposed to hundreds in Jomtien Immigration. Hopefully, I'll have some success this time. Last time they didn't send a slip and I had to go to the office anyway, even though I had the EMS receipt. Fingers crossed.

No, the reason is not obvious, is it because of Covid 19 or is it just because most people just want things their way and don't want to comply or what, nothing is obvious, there are some strange minds at work on Thai Visa. 4 1

Popular Post kiaora1968
I did mine on 19 March at 10am, online, and it was approved the same day at 5pm. I was 14 days before the due date. It took me 3 minutes to fill in the online form with my smartphone. No queue, no worry. https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do Edited March 23, 2020 by kiaora1968 Add link

But I consider it to be pointless.

Popular Post whiteman
Did my 90 days reporting today the 24th March at 9 am heaps of Asian workers outside with special desks set up for them,. Yet I just walked into the side office that I always go to do my 90days reporting at, and low and behold only me in there. 4 staff all face masked up with gloves. No hand sanitizer any where for me but I had brought my own and I was wearing surgical gloves and a surgical masked that my partner who was a nurse before got us to wear way before all this broke out. I used my right hand to slide the door open and handed the lady my passport and papers with my left gloved hand 45secs later she handed me my passport back all stamped but i didn't touch my returned passport had her drop it into a plastic bag I had brought with me so no touching of any thing. She the immigration officer said to me very smart. I then turned around and opened the sliding door again with my right gloved hand walked to my car and besides it was a rubbish bin I took off my right gloved hand glove using my left gloved hand and dropped it into the rubbish bin. Drove home and will not go out again till the 24th June when my retirement and 90days again are due. I will be 73 by then. Stay safe all of you oldies. Let me know what you think of this Immigration visit of mine today. 5
grumpy 4680
I have already explained my reason's for a temporary ending of 90 day reports on the Chiang Mai Immi Promanada topic. However, my wife and I too wore surgical gloves as well today, upon leaving, after almost 3 hours, the staff at the entrance to where we came in, gave a friendly smile, pointed to where we could dispose of the gloves, and even held the sanitizer gel and applied some to our hands, going out the door I think we where all smiling. Don't even have to get out of the pickup.
