Rihanna, 32, has donated Personal Protective Equipment supplies to the state of New York where the large number of COVID-19 cases is putting enormous pressure on hospitals and medical professionals

She already announced she was donating $5 million through her Clare Lionel Foundation to nonprofit organizations working to support 'frontline health workers and marginalized communities' during the coronavirus pandemic.

And on Thursday, it was revealed Rihanna has also donated Personal Protective Equipment supplies to the state of New York where the large number of COVID-19 cases is putting enormous pressure on hospitals and medical professionals.

In a tweet, Governor Andrew Cuomo shared: 'I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State. We're so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up.'

Rihanna's name was also included in a list of donors published on Governor Cuomo's official website.
