Am I stuck in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Currently on 'holiday' in Bangkok, but my O-A marriage visa is due for collection, 3rd April, from Chaiyaphum IO. Do I have to go and collect on that date or can it be delayed? Can I go and collect it, will the police let me? If I do go will I be allowed back into Bangkok where we have another month to go on a condo rental? Might I be made to return to my registered address in Nong But Daeng? Any sensible guidance will be much appreciated.

Personally I would ring the immigration office in Chaiyaphum

get the wife to explain your in Bangkok and as the authority's are saying stay put that's the advice you are taking. So would it be possible to delay pick up of Extension untill travel is allowed again.

As far as I know there is nothing that prevents you from traveling from Bangkok to Chaiyaphum at this time.

Only that you should restrict your travels to essential ones. You certainly have a good reason for traveling to Chaiyaphum.

If it was me I would stay in Chaiyaphum instead of going back to Bangkok and forget about he one month rental of the condo.

Yes. Just trying to cancel free of charge as we speak. Fingers crossed. Cheers

Bear in mind BKK is A hot spot so ensure to self isolate on return to home so many not bothering and spreading it north.

Could be wrong but I believe you have to inform someone via an app or something I read

Cheers. Will check the app thing. Already suggested to she who must be obeyed we stay in a hotel at Chaiyaphum. Not going to be popular if we turn out to be asymptomatic and super spreaders!!
