Roads at the Nang Loeng area in Bangkok were deserted on Saturday morning (March 28) after the temporary closure of risky areas was announced to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration had ordered the temporary closure of many places it deemed to be high risk for Covid-19 infection in the capital from March 22 to April 12 this year, causing most of people to stay at home.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in various department stores is quiet due to the huge drop in the number of tourists, a sharp contrast to the steady stream of people visiting these places all day.
