Roads at the Nang Loeng area in Bangkok were deserted on Saturday morning (March 28) after the temporary closure of risky areas was announced to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration had ordered the temporary closure of many places it deemed to be high risk for Covid-19 infection in the capital from March 22 to April 12 this year, causing most of people to stay at home.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in various department stores is quiet due to the huge drop in the number of tourists, a sharp contrast to the steady stream of people visiting these places all day.

wow

Wasn't it just announced that the affected venues will remain closed until April 30? Seems like this news story isn't up to date with the latest.

They can hear birdsong in Wuhan,

And dolphins frolic in the canals of Venice.

Do you want streets and large arteries empty of traffic in Bangkok?

No need for the Covid-19 for this
