Trying to transfer Tsb to TW. It does not seem to know  TW. Telephone banking cannot do it either. Anyone have same problems.?

It does not recognize it. Try to set up new recipient does not know Tw.? Tried telephone banking - no problem we can do for you - oops no we cant!  On hold 1 hour 30 minutes and gave up.

so you added TransferWise sort code and account number and doesn't work?

Are you trying to send money from your TSB bank-account to your TransferWise borderless account?

Or do you want to make use of TransferWise to transfer money from your TSB bank-account to a thai bank-account?

Correct -I have been using TW for years. Tele banking cannot do it either.

TSB to TW account.

Update - Phoned TSB today - another 80 minute on hold and they tried again. NO it does not recognize TW or the bank number and sort code. They cannot find it.

 

Phoned TW. The fault is with TW  - a glitch in the TW system has meant some banks, NOT ALL, including TSB are unable to locate them. TW are hoping to fix it today. If not today tomorrow. If you try today and your bank does not know them try tomorrow.

 

PS just received an email from TW . It affects all GBP accounts. They will reimburse my zillion baht mobile phone costs.  that is a nice touch.

It's worth being cautious with Transferwise and any other bank for a while, money won't be flowing normally. I wouldn't make big transfers currently
