English name is Pomello. It is related to the grapefruit. But you should find what you are looking for with a web search.

 

I presume you're thinking of the effect of grapefruit upon statins.  Pomelo is believed to interact similarly - at least from animal studies.  Note, however, that some statins (e.g. fluvastatin, pravastatin, rosuvastatin) are unaffected by grapefruit and (presumably) pomelo.  Unfortunately, these statins are much more expensive than the older ones which are affected by citrus.

and it's not just statins...affects other medications too. I love SOM-O...but limit my snacks to one slice
