Guys quick question my wife was in SCB today and wanted to transfer personal funds to my UK account and was refused and told she needs an invoice?

Is this the case has anyone else experienced anything like this when trying to transfer money from account with mine and wife named on it to a Uk account again with myself named on it ?

Thanks in Advance

I have never heard of this requirement before.

Alternatively you can try DeeMoney (totally not biased). To sign-up, go to this page: deemoney.com/sign-up

Only identification document is required (Passport or Thai drivers license). No work permit or invoices.

Transfers to the UK have a 125 THB fee right now and it usually arrives within 30 minutes.
