webfact
Hua Hin: Visitors arriving from Phuket must register and quarantine at home for 14 days Picture: Daily News Daily News said that the Hua Hin district chief had implemented strict measures for anyone arriving in the town from Phuket to guard against the spread of the coronavirus. Prayong Janthateng has ordered that those arriving from Phuket - a province that has been a hotbed of the outbreak in Thailand - must register their address using a QR code. They then are required to go for health checks at Hua Hin Hospital where further registration can be done. Picture: Daily News This can be accomplished at the yellow building Chalerm Prakiat 80. After this they are required to immediately go to the address they put on the QR code and quarantine themselves for 14 days. Health department volunteers will visit to make checks that will be entered on the code. If they are all clear after 14 days they are allowed to resume life as normal. bluedoc
If they are visitor, how can they stay at home??? i expect some of the people that arrive in Hua Hin are staying one night on the way home from 6 weeks lockdown in Phuket. Why would they want to quarantine for another two weeks.???
