Why not fly to Penang with AirAsia ... arriving at 10:05 am?

It is my guess mini busses only depart from the city ... you won't arrive in time at the Consulate which closes at noon.

I think they will often delay 1 hours, so will miss the time to reach consalate.

A couple of months the airplane was on time (also the flight back). I've heard that most morning flight are on time. Even if the plane arrives at 11.05 am you are still in time (the ride is about 35 minutes).

Even if you take the AA flight to Had Yai you won't make it on time to the consulate.

Alternative: see if there is a 1:05 pm flight. Rest overnight and go to the consulate in the morning (or let somebody do it for you (around 20 ringgit).
