6 Months Visa. Do They Still Exist?

Featured Replies

hi all,

last december (19th) i obtained a tourist visa-category TR- no. of entires 3- type visa. when visiting the consulate in milan (i got my visa in london though), i was told that when this visa expired i could leave the country and simply obtain another one.

is this correct or have i been lied to? have a remaining two months on my visa, and was wondering the best place to get this type of visa in asia is. dont really want to go back to europe but will do if its more convenient.

also, i can obtain a student visa if i wanted, has the rules changed on this visa at all? last time i had one it was a one year-90 days multiple entry visa. we used to get another 90 days on the end of it as well.

cheers for your help :o

Will only get a single entry in Asia. You will have more chance in your own country.

oh right. girl in visa run shop, who i have known for a few years mentioned malaysia and aid i shouldnt have a problem as i have had one allready.

but if its to much hassle ill just get my student visa instead if its the same as before

I would suspect you will have a hard time finding any Consulate willing to issue you a 3 entry tourist visa again. Surly not in Malaysia.
