Same, same. Doesn't matter what kind of visa is issued there will always be some kind of abuse. IMHO, if they intend maintian all these different types of visas, the only real deterrent is life time bans and heavy fines. At least 25% of the people I know on the DTV are not using it for what it was intended for. -

Aspiring Thai flight attendants, too old, short, brown or fat? Come to America instead!
The Asian airlines must be retire them after a certain age because I never once saw a flight attendant on an Asian airline who looked much over 35. The US is doing the opposite I guess and making the oldest do the hardest flights. I don't mind at all the older cashiers but some jobs are not suited for people of any age. The real problem the US has is these laws that make it possible to get sued if they don't hire you. If you get some mean fat black women apply and you turn her down even though she qualifies you could easily get sued for racial or gender discrimination. This is what I mean by state enforced low standards. -

Maybe irate, but cursing the hotel staff is not the way to behave. He should have inquired politely and things would have been sorted out, shouting and calling the hotel staff names is the sign of a uneducated moron! -

What a shame, I visited the hotel about 10 years ago and it really was an absolute masterpiece of Thai craftsmanship, absolutely stunning, it seems it has never been run properly and I’m sure it won’t survive yet another crisis ! -
