Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) will deliver free face masks to vulnerable sections of society, starting with the Thailand Association of the Blind and Autistic Thai Foundation, so that they can protect themselves from Covid-19.

After CP Group started producing face masks to deliver to medical personnel and hospitals, the situation of mask shortages in hospitals has gradually improved, the company said.

CP Group said that so far it had delivered more than 4.5 million face masks to almost 500 hospitals nationwide.

Suphachai Chearavanont, chief executive officer of CP Group, said that they would continue delivering free face masks to medical personnel and begin the delivery to vulnerable people through several associations and foundations.

"We will deliver face masks to the Thailand Association of the Blind and Autistic Thai Foundation to enable vulnerable people to protect themselves from Covid-19," he said.
