Teak furniture restoration

I have a set of outdoor teak furniture that need some work of restoration (cleaning with sandpaper and/or acid, and oil coating).

Does somebody have a suggestion for a carpenter/painter that could make a good job, better if in Rawai area ?

Please refrain from suggesting me to do the work by myself:  I am a bit old, and I have already completed the part of furniture cleaning assigned to my life ????

We're in Rawai.

We had a set of outdoor teak furniture restored last year: a table and four chairs.

It was jet-washed, sanded and varnished.

It looked a million times better afterwards: it went from weathered grey to rich and slightly-shiny teak colour.

It was done by our Burmese jack-of-all-trades, Joe.
He had four men going at it. I can't remember the exact cost, but it was less than 5,000 THB.

Bear in mind that this wasn't antique furniture, so 'restoration' may be the wrong word. However, it started off looking bad, and ended up looking great!

Please pm me if you'd like his details.

I know it's been a while, but Restoring teak furniture can be a gratifying project. I’ve tackled a few, and I love how they turn out. First, you’ll want to clean it thoroughly to remove any dirt or old finishes. A mix of warm, soapy water usually does the trick. Once it’s dried, sanding is your next step. Start with a coarse sandpaper and gradually move to a finer one for a smooth finish.
If you want to add a bit of flair, consider using mod podge fabric to furniture. It’s a fantastic way to personalize your pieces and gives them a unique touch. Just make sure to seal it properly so it lasts. Finish off with an excellent teak oil to protect and nourish the wood. It brings out the grain! You’ll be amazed at how fresh it looks.
