Warning to women: Liar is online

BANGKOK: -- Police Thursday arrested a man who has allegedly duped money from more than 20 women who are initially his online chat pals.

Wutthirat Limson, 21, was arrested at Lat Phrao soi 122.

In his latest offence, he stole a cell phone from a woman he knew online.

After his arrest, he told police that he had preyed on around 20 women, who he got to know initially through online chatting and had sex with in some cases.

In the beginning of their relationships, he usually lied to his victims that his father owned a private hospital and he himself worked as a stock analyst with a finance company.

Later, he lied to women that he was in need of money and he claimed that most women willingly transferred money or gave him their properties, although he even occasionally stole those willing women's valuables when he had chances.

Confessing his crimes, Wutthirat said his largest preying on a woman net him around Bt1.4 million in cash and a car. A woman lent him Bt70,000 and another woman gave him 20 mobile handsets worth around Bt200,000 in total.

i like the title of the thread "Warning to women: Liar is online" as if women were cluless to the fact...

Maybe the communications ministry would like to ban all liars in chatrooms along side YouTube :o

wouldn't that be called "A Crackdown On Liars"???
