In a nice touch, Netflix confirmed the news 'exactly 20 years to the day since the original was released'. Film fans were delighted by the announcement, with one tweeting: "The only good thing to happen since the start of 2020." Another added: "@aardman are legends in the game. This is a good move Netflix."
