June 27, 20206 yr Popular Post Should be no agreements unless all the stupidly high Thai Tariffs are reduced or considerably lowered on British Goods. It's time the Thai's stopped getting things their own way with their Exports while adding Punitive Tariffs to Imports !

It's time the Thai's stopped getting things their own way with their Exports while adding Punitive Tariffs to Imports ! This is what the agreement is about, they're negotiating the tariffs each country will charge in different sectors of goods. It's a two way agreement. "The concept of free trade is the opposite of trade protectionism or economic isolationism" - I copied this line from investopedia. Thailand is normally protective and over taxes everything both domestic and foreign.
