The Bank of Thailand (BOT) announced on Thursday that all financial institutions in the country will be closed on July 27 following the Cabinet’s decision.

The Cabinet on June 30 declared July 27 as a holiday to compensate for the Songkran festival holiday which was earlier cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Hey I got an idea

Let"s have a holiday for New years day on the 31 st july. That how bloody stupid this is. Thais have no work and then the govrenment says take a holiday wow

What are you all bit,,,ing about?

They have given a day holiday in leiu of Songkran being cancelled. What is wrong with that ?

The bars are open, so settle down & Thais get a 4 day holiday to go & reduce their numbers on the road.

Normality has returned
