Universal Production Music has launched an Alexa Voice Skill to provide its clients with a way to search for and discover music across the company’s catalog.

Universal Production Music claims to be the first production music company to use voice assistant technology in this way.

The Alexa Voice Skill taps into Universal Production Music’s search engine, enabling users to discover and listen to more than half a million quality tracks.

Using voice commands, users can now find music by saying, “Alexa, ask Universal Production Music to…” followed by any audio request such as: play relaxing piano; play a specific track, album or genre; and beyond.
