If going to penang, must I search malysian people for guarantor?

Which country are you from? I never had to give a guarantor name for my visas?!?!

ererer, if you examine the application carefully you will see it is multi-purpose for both "tourist" and "non-immigrant" visas. for only a "tourist" application i don't think it's necessary to put anything in there, a moderator in the past had also suggested putting in "self" so as not to leave a blank space. a guarantor is someone who can vouch for you, a personal reference.

mada333samui, you would need the visa application form for the specific consulate you intend on visiting. if nothing else, the address heading on the form will change and they will only want their own. some consulates have functioning websites where you can download the form, some not. penang appears to be in the "not" category so unless you can find some way of accessing the form on-line, you'll have to wait until you get there and obtain the form in person.
