fft100
My Thai wife successfully got a UK spouse visa in April. The 30 days for entry to the UK to collect the BRP ran from 1st April to end of April. Because the situation in the UK was getting a lot worse, we stayed here in Thailand. We now want to travel to the UK in August. The UK govt say on their website that a replacement visa will be issued. So, 30 days ago i sent an email to CIH saying, as requested, "Replacement 30 Day Visa" in the title. I had an automated response immediately saying that someone would get back to me in a few days. So far nothing. Has anyone had an appointment to go to Bangkok to give biometrics (i understand this will be needed again), or actually had a replacement visa. There appears to be no contact point at VFS in Bangkok. Tony M
Have you called them ? Telephone: 0800 678 1767 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) Calls to this number are free of charge within the UK. Check call charges with your phone provider if you’re calling from abroad.
