Non Imm O-A to Non Imm B & work permit: done in country. Any leads?

Featured Replies

So, currently a Non Imm O-A.

Want to replace with a Non Imm B,  90 days, for subsequent work permit. Need to do this in country, as obviously leaving/visiting Embassy/returning is currently out of the question and straight into an expensive nightmare.

Current time limit on existing visa is Sept 29, along with many other people.

Possible, or not?

Any ideas for contacts, approaches, agents, lawyers, etc?

Positive, constructive replies most welcome.

Are you on a one year entry from a OA visa?

Do you mean you are on a automatic extension now until September 26th (not the 29th)?

Yes. Expired in May.

Apologies: meant 29th Sept.

Since you were on a entry from a OA visa immigration might allow you to apply for an extension based upon working but the problem you will have is applying for a work permit that is required to do the application. Work permit offices will not normally accept a application if you are on a OA visa entry or a extension based upon retirement.

Thanks @ubonjoe.

Can anyone suggest offices that might be able to help with the process? Work base will be in Isaarn...
