The actor, best known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the film series, admitted that he has been dealing with substance issues from a young age. Speaking to The Big Issue's Letter to My Younger Self, he said: "I've always had an addictive personality and by the age of 16 I'd already passed through drink and was getting started on a decades-long love affair with drugs." Isaacs recalled the first time he got drunk at the age of 12.
