Marvel fans have had to wait longer than expected for the MCU to return, so what better time to look back to where it all began?

 

Back in 2008, Iron Man kickstarted the biggest movie franchise of all time and the character would remain an ever-present across Marvel's first three Phases, until his heartbreaking demise in Avengers: Endgame.

 

But here are 11 things you might not know about the Iron Man franchise.

 

It had taken Marvel decades to get their film output right (the less said about '90s efforts The Punisher, Fantastic Four and Captain America, the better) but finally, they were ready to bring Iron Man to the screen.

The Punisher from the mid-2000s was quite alright in my opinion!

I'm wondering how they're going to resurrect the character. 

 

I can't see them leaving that golden goose dead.

And your point being?

The media is now trying to convince everyone that Black Panther wasn't in fact barely comprehendible PC garbage, as the next installment is due out (I can't wait, obviously). Hollywood seems hell bent on ruining everything, they've done it to Star Wars, Bond too. And now, because of cash, the Chinese are insisting that stories and even history be rewritten to not offend the CCP, or let it be known that in fact the Chinese in general are a bit <deleted>. Not very principled the Democrats I'm afraid.
