Visa Extension Options

Featured Replies

I would appreciate some expert advice please

I have Non-O visa marriage from Savanakhet
It expired last May - so I am on amnesty
I am in Chiang Mai

If amnesty is not extended - I would like to know what options I have

I know about 60 day extension based on marriage - but my wife is not here
in Chiang Mai and she can't return for another 2-3 weeks - i.e. after 26th
and I don't have access to original marriage certificate until then

Can I do 60 day extension by myself with just copies of documents?

Or -

I have a son in Chiang Mai - he is adult and not dependent in the normal sense - but
he is seriously ill in hospital and I must look after him all the time - so he is dependent in that sense.
Is there any option in this way?

If not, what other options are available? - at least to keep me legal until my wife returns
If I overstay for a few days until my wife arrives - would that be a big problem?

Thank you

You could try for a medical visa, but I'd get on to agent quickly. You probably still have just enough time if you act now.

You could try this one, it has decent reviews on Google: Chiang Mai Thai Visa Services by Nueng LCMT
