Popular Post British Consular Team
Last week was busy for our operational teams. We delivered 32 notarial services, managed 25 urgent cases - many of these involving bereaved families - oversaw 2 complex & ongoing medical evacuations and conducted a remote virtual visit with detainees at the Immigration Detention Centre. We also provided 2 repatriation loans and issued approximately 500 letters to support visa extension applications for people unable to go home or applying for a non-immigrant visa. We also visited the One Stop Crisis Centre (OSCC) for survivors of rape and sexual assault at the Police General Hospital. We ended the week on a high note with a unique thank you from a British National who was so pleased with the service he received that he agreed to plant 100 trees in Pai!

We work hard to make sure our updates are as factual as possible so your point about bragging is also helpful, as a reminder to keep this focus.

Actually, you're not really doing what you're supposed to be doing. You're supposed to be providing us with a simple letter that confirms there is currently a Covid-19 outbreak in the UK. Instead you've taken it upon yourselves to waste time unnecessarily assessing every application and then only providing the letter "for people unable to go home or applying for a non-immigrant visa".
