Hi

 

I am an Irish citizen currently in China. My wife is Thai and our son has Thai and Irish passports. My wife and son are due to fly to China in a few weeks to join me. My question is this:

 

Does my son need a parental consent letter from me to exit the country with his Mom? If it is needed does it need to be stamped in the amphur office? Or will his birth certificates be enough?

 

In my son's Chinese visa application I already filled out a two page parental consent form for him to travel, alone with his Mom.
