The Centre for Economic Situation Administration on Thursday decided to extend the government’s “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” (We Travel Together) and “Kum Lung Jai” (Encouragement) stimulus packages to January 31, 2021.

Apart from extending these measures, Thai nationals can also get a discount voucher for tourist attractions in their provinces by presenting their house registration documents.

Again the government ignores the expat community. If they want to simulate domestic tourism, give some serious discounts to the expats. When an expat goes for a holiday, they spend two or three times what a Thai spends. I know I do. I just went on 2 holidays the previous 2 months to Khao Yai and then to Hua Hin. When I went out to places like the Thames Valley Inn, the Chocolate Factory, Carlo's Italian, I saw 90 pecent farangs and 10 percent Thai customers. I would spend more if I have better promotional offers.

Farangs don,t count over here as far as handouts are concerned...they will take our money but give nothing back....surely you should know this by now

Is it too early to know more details?  For instance my Thai gf has already used 7 of the 10 nights allowed, will we still have only 3 more nights to use up until 31 Jan 2021?
