But, Attach file is not STV visa.

What's the difference between STV and Tourist visa?

 

 

Can tourists other than STV visa go to Thailand now?

That looks very like the STV requirements shown on other embassy websites. It's certainly a lot more onerous than the regular tourist visa (which is unavailable anywhere).

 

Have you actually spoken with the embassy yet as suggested in your other thread?

The biggest difference at present time, is that STV allows you to enter Thailand and regular tourist visa do not.

Those are the requirements for the new basic tourist visa that allows the standard 60 day entry that can be extended for the 30 days.

The STV allows a 90 day entry that can be extended for 90 days twice.

Note the fees for them. New tourist visa 40 euro and the STV 80 euro.

I don't understand why they classified STV visa and normal tourist visa separately.

 

So I don't need self-quaramtine and insurance to enter Thailand on a regular tourist visa?

How do you work that out?

 

The first page you posted has a requirement for 14 days Alternative State Quarantine (that's a mandated hotel, not self-quarantine) plus 100,000 USD of COVID insurance. 

 

Have you spoken to the embassy yet? They will be able to tell you exactly what you can get and what you need to get it.

Yes you do but only the covid 19 insurance is needed. They omitted some of the requirements from it.

The tourist visa OP mentions is the new 60 days tourist visa where you need ฿500,000 baht in a bank account for 6 months. Otherwise the requirements to get the visa is same as for the STV incl Covid-19 insurance and quarantine.

New 60 day visa????? what have I missed? is t nt the new STV 90 + 90 + 90 days that has those requirements?
