Run: Tracert Thaivisa.com

the windows run command: tracert + "any domain"

will yield all the stops your browser goes through to connect to a web site ..

max 30 hubs in the windows version .. my neighbor has a stand alone package that even shows the phone # of each hub

i am in the western US

my "tracert thaivisa.com" bounced around greater LA 3 times before going to japan & then Singapore on the way here.

there were 13 'hubs' between me & here.

i'm sure this is old news to most .. yet, an eye opener for me.

my neighbor got the advanced package because he was considering a russian mail order bride .. & wanted to confirm the 'models' were in russia.

he & I agreed, that based on internet photos of russian womens they are ALL the hottest blond babes on this planet

Seems like a lot of rerouting in Malaysia/Singapore.

there are more 'hops' between jomtean & the thaivisa server & the western US & the thaivisa server.

did a tracert yesterday evening .. the hops were different.. i assume with traffic the routing changes.

& i cannot 'copy' my tracert window?

This is on Maxnet Premier (business package) in Pattaya...

You clearly see the different QOS settings at work, with preferential/faster routing as compared to WPCOE's home package (I assume he's on Maxnet's Indy)...

CAT IIG does peering with Starhub and transit with Singtel, so most traffic to Singapore should go through Starhub.
