Hotels Near Thai Embassy In Kl.......

As I will not be getting another extension to my Non B I need to go to KL later this month to get a new Non B.

Never been there before and looking to find a hotel that is near to the embassy or at least not too far by taxi. Anyone got any reasonably priced recomendations (1000 to 2000 THB per night)?
