Hello everyone!

I have some questions that need clarification regarding visa and work permit. If a work permit expires with the non-immigrant B visa, but the passport holder leaves the country a day before the expiry date, and comes back to Thailand with a 30-day tourist stamp from Aranyaprathet Immigration office, and he returns the work permit to the Ministry of Labour the following day it expires, will he need to report the work permit clearance to the Immigration Bureau, or not? And if he processes again for a new non-immigrant B visa and a work permit, at least how many days should he be required to have in his visa before obtaining the new non-immigrant B visa?

I appreciate your kind explanation.

Sincerely,

yllorco

One more thing, he was told by his school's legal officer not to worry reporting the work permit clearance to the immigration within seven days as the Immigration bureau has a new rule that a Non-immigrant B applicant should have at least 7 days, instead of 21 days, left days on his tourist visa.
