Wookie
Anybody know how long you have to wait for the marriage extension after submitting the documents ? I am changing from a retirement extension. I heard that some offices can issue them immediately but others have to send everything to Bangkok. How about Phetchaburi office ? ubonjoe
You will get a under consideration stamp with a report back date 30 days from the day you apply for the extension. Sometimes it takes longer than 30 days for approval. All extension of stay based upon marriage have to be approved at the Division Headquarters that is over the office where you apply. Yours would be approved by Division 3 in Bangkok that is responsible for the central region of the country.
