wca01 Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 If a falang has a monthly pension of about 200,000 Baht, one has to go to the embassy and they will issue a confirmation. Is such a confirmation enough? Is it necesseray to show bank proofs? WC

It's my understanding that the US Embassy only requires the applicant to state his monthly income and that document, notarized by the embassy, is used to apply for extension of stay. No verifying documents are required. The British Embassy does require verification of pensions. -redwood
