NON-IMM O Multiple Entry Latest Re-entry date

Featured Replies

I have a NON-IMM O Multiple entry visa (Married to a Thai).
Place of issue Wellington NZ, Valid from 06 Dec 2019, valid until 05 Dec 2020,

Entered Thailand 19 Dec 2019, admitted until 17 Mar 2020.

Departed Mae Sai, Thailand 16 Mar 2020 to Tachileik, Myanmar re-entered  Mae Sai the same day, admitted  until 13 Jun 2020.  Then Departed Suvarnabhumi 18 Dec 2020.
Question is, when is the latest date I can re-enter Thailand on this visa? Ie. 04 Dec 2020? 18 Dec 2020?
When I re-enter Thailand prior to either 04 Dec 2020 or 18 Dec 2020 will I be admitted til 90 days after arrival.
Ubon Joe your reply would be appreciated.

You can use your visa for entry to the country until the 5th of December.

You will have to apply for a certificate of entry at a Thai embassy to enter the country at this time.

3rd March.

I also have an Non O, dated March 2011. I don't know if that is an O-A or an O-X or just O. I know that it allowed me to renew without buying health insurance. My visa expires in February 2021 and I hope to travel. So I can reenter with the certificate of entry, assuming I have a reentry permit? I'm not clear on what is required to get the Certificate of Reentry, though. Any ideas?

No one can enter without a Certificate of Entry (COE) at this time, full stop. Requirements for which include pre-booking for 2 week mandatory quarantine at an approved facility,  and proof of insurance for COVID, among other things.  You will also have to have a negative COVID test done within 72 hours of departure.

You would know if you had an O-A or O-X as you would have had to obtain it abroad (and needed proof of insurance to extend). . Sounds like you have had annual extension of stay based on an original O visa. Unless married to (or parent of) a Thai you will not be able to re-enter based on this. You  a  would have to get either an O-A visa (retirement) or a tourist visa. Both have a considerable list of requirements.

Best to defer your travel plans IMO.
