Getting a tourist visa without exiting Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

I live here with my wife and a 2 year old daughter. I just lost my job owing to the pandemic and was living on the work permit and visa given by my employer. My wife and daughter are living in the non o dependent visa.

My company policy is to cancel the visas and work permit once the employee is not employed.

Now iam stranded and have to head back to India where COVID situation is very bad and i do not want to expose my little daughter.

Is there a way i can somhow get a tourist visa without exiting Thailand for all 3 of us so i can defer the journey back to my home.

No.

You could look into the current 60 day extensions due to covid situation.

Many threads about this.

Thanks for the response, but the problem is my company does not want to renew it since iam not longer employed with them. Can you please guide me as to how it can be done.

You go to your immigration office and tell them that you want to apply for the 60 day covid extension.

Bring the usual passport, departure card, TM30 receipt copies and a passport sized photo with you
